I’ve wanted to capture this “heart” LED light bulb that I gave my Dad for Christmas a few years ago for a while now. I love its vintage aesthetics that are akin to Edison filaments.

And Vivienne “cheesing” at her Papa’s.
*~*
Then yesterday we had the pleasure of exploring the Canadian Museum of History and I felt inspired to do some photography, albeit on my iPhone, but nevertheless, here’s what I captured:

“Red disco, red funk, red rock and roll…” from their “Retro” exhibit that featured Canadian musicians and all kinds of neat things related to rock and roll.

Just for fun.

I was quite drawn to the “Morning Star” mural. I found it captivating :).

As you can see, it is stunning.
And last by not least, Big V and Little V had quite some fun with this modular “Tetris”/”LiteBrite”-esque toy near the “Retro” exhibit:

More photography to come as I’ve dusted off my camera and feel more inspired by all the new things I see around me in Ottawa—all of which is still newfound ^^~!
